As part of the third phase of the Sushasan Tihar, today’s camp covered eight gram panchayats—Sitagaon, Madanwada, Karekatta, Halanjur, Hureli, Kandadi, Kohka, and Halora—which were included as a cluster. Chief Minister Shri Sai engaged in direct interaction with beneficiaries from these panchayats, reviewed ground-level implementation of government schemes, and listened to public grievances.
In his address, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that *Sushasan Tihar 2025* is being observed across the state. “It has been one and a half years since our government assumed office, and during this period, we have continuously reached out to the people to assess the impact and reach of our welfare initiatives,” he said.
Chief Minister emphasised that the government is operating with a spirit of transparency and public participation. He informed that 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana houses have been sanctioned since the formation of the new government, including 15,000 special houses approved for Naxal-affected areas. Under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, eligible women are receiving due benefits.
He further added that the government has procured paddy at the rate of Rs 3,100 per quintal. The process of mutation will now be completed automatically with property registration. The relinquishment of rights (*Haq Tyag*) is now possible at a nominal fee of just Rs 500. As many as 1,460 “Atal Digital Seva Kendras” have been established in gram panchayats, and this network will be expanded to cover all village panchayats within the next year.
Highlighting cultural initiatives, Shri Sai noted that the newly established Tribal Museum in Naya Raipur is a significant step towards the preservation of tribal heritage. He reiterated the government’s commitment to eradicating Naxalism and announced that complete elimination is targeted by March 2026.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister made key announcements, including upgradation of Sitagaon Sub Health Centre into a Primary Health Centre, construction of a bus stand and hostel in Mohla, upgradation of the high school in Sitapur into a Higher Secondary School, establishment of a 132 KV substation in the Ambagarh Chowki region.
Chief Minister Shri Sai also distributed welfare goods to eligible beneficiaries. This included distribution of fishing nets by the Fisheries Department, ration cards by the Food Department, and symbolic ‘Keys of Happiness’ under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Beneficiaries under the Swachh Bharat Mission were provided with benefits, and *Swachhta Didis* were felicitated. Pension scheme recipients were also extended benefits. Additionally, meritorious students from the region were honoured and awarded by the Chief Minister.
Speaking at the camp, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said the government is working earnestly to resolve public grievances and fulfil people’s demands. “Applications were invited and scrutinised a month in advance, and now benefits are being extended through these camps,” he explained. He lauded Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for personally attending the camps to oversee on-ground redressal of issues.
Shri Sharma also mentioned revolutionary reforms in the processes of registration, mutation, and *Haq Tyag*, which now require minimal effort from the citizens. “With the new mechanism, mutation will occur automatically post-registration, eliminating the need to visit multiple offices,” he said. He added that Mahtari Vandan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana reflect the government’s sincere concern for women and the economically weaker sections. He also highlighted the substantial progress made in the fight against Naxalism through combined efforts of the Centre and the State.
The event witnessed the presence of several public representatives, administrative officials, and a large gathering of local residents.
