Korba, June, 28 . N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Technical) Operations, SECL, visited Gevra Area today to review coal production and dispatch activities.
During the visit, he inspected key operational locations and assessed the measures being undertaken to enhance production and ensure smooth coal evacuation.
He reviewed mining operations, deployment of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM), coal transportation arrangements and dispatch performance. Stressing the importance of operational efficiency, Shri Jayakumar directed officials to focus on maximizing equipment utilization, maintaining uninterrupted production and strengthening coordination to improve dispatch.
He also reviewed the preparedness for the ongoing monsoon season and instructed officials to ensure effective dewatering arrangements, proper maintenance of haul roads and strict adherence to safety standards so that mining operations continue without interruption.
