Raipur, May 3, 2026 / During his Sushasan Tihar tour of Balrampur district, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai inspected the under-construction Nalanda Campus at the district headquarters, being built at a cost of Rs 4.48 crore. He reviewed the progress and quality of work and directed officials to complete construction within the stipulated timeline while maintaining high standards, as the campus is envisioned as a key study centre for local students.
Chief Minister also reviewed details of construction materials, work progress and proposed facilities, warning that any negligence would not be tolerated. He emphasized the government’s aim to provide a better academic environment to help students prepare effectively for competitive examinations.
Shri Sai said the Nalanda Campus will feature a modern e-library, competitive exam books, enriched study material, and newspapers and magazines, creating a comprehensive study environment, and expressed confidence it will emerge as a strong centre of knowledge and opportunity for district students, playing a key role in shaping their future.
During the inspection, he also reviewed the other proposed facilities in the premises and provided necessary directions. He stated that the Nalanda Campus symbolizes the state government’s commitment to providing modern and quality educational resources to the youth.
