Delegation expressed their gratitude for fulfilling the demands related to restructuring the Public Relations Department

The delegation of Chhattisgarh’s Public Relations Officers Association met Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office on Friday and expressed gratitude to him for fulfilling the demands related to the restructuring of the Public Relations Department, along with other demands.

During a meeting with the Chief Minister, Mr. Balmukund Tamboli, the President of the Association and a Joint Director in the department, expressed his gratitude for the significant developments in the Public Relations Department of Chhattisgarh. He mentioned that after nearly 22 years since the formation of the state, the department has been revamped under the Chief Minister’s leadership. This restructuring led to the creation of 3 Additional Directors, 3 Joint Directors, 10 Deputy Directors, and various other positions, providing much-needed promotions for long-neglected officers. Mr. Tamboli emphasised that this restructuring would enhance the department’s functionality and efficiency. He thanked the Chief Minister on behalf of the association for his pivotal role in bringing about these changes. Additionally, he noted that communication equipment, a long-standing demand of the department, was nearly fulfilled. The association’s representatives also lauded the Chief Minister’s decision to reintroduce the Old Pension Scheme, which brought immense happiness to the officers of the Public Relations Department. Moreover, 16 newly appointed officers benefited from the Chief Minister’s decision to revoke the 70-80-90 percent stipend system. The association’s representatives expressed their gratitude for the Chief Minister’s decision to increase DA and HRA, which proved advantageous to all the department’s officers and employees.

Mr. Tamboli highlighted that the recruitment of class III and IV positions in the department will bolster its strength, enabling officers to fulfil their responsibilities effectively. The Chief Minister Mr. Baghel emphasised expediting the recruitment process during their meeting, indicating swift action in that direction.

The Chief Minister Mr. Baghel encouraged Public Relations Department officers and employees to work diligently and raise awareness about government welfare schemes.
