The delegation of the Chhattisgarh Employees Officers United Front met Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel in his office located in the Vidhan Sabha premises today. The delegation expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for the decision taken in the interest of government employees. Describing it as employee-friendly and historical, the delegation said that there is a wave of happiness among the employees across the state. The delighted employees honored the Chief Minister by garlanding him and raising slogans of ‘Bhupesh Baghel Zindabad’. The members of the delegation said that so far, no Chief Minister has bestowed so many gifts on the officers and employees of the state. For the first time, DA at par with the Center is being given in Chhattisgarh. The representatives said that the increase in DA was unexpected for all of them. By increasing the DA, the Chief Minister has given a huge gift to lakhs of employees and their families. The officers-employees urged the Chief Minister that it is the intention of the officers-employees from all over the state to express their gratitude to the Chief Minister by organizing a grand event in Raipur. 
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that our government always takes care of its employees. The Chief Minister advised them that they should continue to discharge their responsibilities diligently. He said that farmers, laborers, and employees contribute to the development of the state, and we take care of them. At the time of Corona, we did not deduct anyone’s salary because people worked without caring for their lives. On this occasion, the Chief Minister motivated the officers and employees to work conscientiously in the interest of the state.
It is notable that, in the interest of the employees, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel made several big announcements in the Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday in the supplementary budget. He announced a 4 percent DA hike, an HRA hike on the basis of the seventh pay scale, a 27 percent hike in the salary of contract workers, a Rs. 4,000 hike in daily wage earners, and a Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 3,000 hike in the special allowance for Panchayat Secretaries. Several important announcements were made, including a monthly resource allowance for Patwaris and an annual allowance of Rs 8,000 for police constables, after which there was a wave of happiness among the officers and employees across the state.
