Chief Minister Visits Thathari Village in Sakti District and Interacts with Villagers, under Sushasan Tihar
Raipur, June 6, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today visited Thathari village in Jaijaipur development block of Sakti district under the ongoing Sushasan Tihar and offered prayers with traditional rituals at the historic Chaturbhuj Vishnu Temple.
Praying to Lord Vishnu for the happiness, prosperity, good health and well-being of the people of the state, the Chief Minister sought blessings for the holistic development of Chhattisgarh. The ancient temple is regarded as an important centre of faith, culture and historical heritage in the region. According to local beliefs, the idol of Lord Vishnu installed in the temple dates back to the fourth century, adding to the site’s unique historical significance.
It is noteworthy that under Sushasan Tihar, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has been continuously touring various rural areas across the state. By directly interacting with villagers, he is taking first-hand feedback on the ground-level implementation of government schemes, public grievances and the actual status of development works.
Continuing the outreach, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai also participated in a public chaupal organised in Thathari village, where he interacted with villagers and listened to their concerns. He also spoke with beneficiaries of various government schemes to understand the effectiveness of service delivery and welfare measures at the grassroots level. Shri Sai directed officials to ensure prompt and sensitive resolution of public grievances.
On the occasion, Janjgir-Champa Lok Sabha MP Smt. Kamlesh Jangde, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rajat Bansal, Collector Shri Amrit Vikas Topno, Superintendent of Police Shri Prafull Thakur, along with public representatives, administrative officials and a large number of villagers, were present.
