NTPC LARA on 26th October 2024. On this occasion Shri Anil Kumar, Executive Director (LARA) addressed the project workers regarding safety measures and adapting safety practices during construction activities. He also advised all to follow basic safety rules while working on height, road safety and importance of fast aid and providing medical facilities during any emergency situation .
Seven workers who had shown good safety practices during work received safety awards from Shri Anil Kumar, HOP(LARA). Rolling trophy for best agency to adapt best safety practices was provided to Paharpur cooling tower. During the mass peptalk, AGM(CCD),AGM(Safety),Sr. Officials of NTPC ,AGM(Project) BHEL, Sr. Officials of BHEL, agency site in-charges, Chola Mandalam MS officials, safety officers etc were present. Total 300 workers were present during the peptalk. Programme ended with a safety pledge administered to all by Shri Anil Kumar, Executive DIrector (Lara) .During the program recent incidents of NTPC Kathasagar safety audio also played to create an awareness on safety among the workers.
