The Home Department under the Chhattisgarh Government has issued an order prohibiting employees of the Health and Family Welfare Department from refusing to work in essential health services. The order, which comes into force immediately, will be applied to all doctors, nurses, and health workers across all government and private health institutions. The state government has issued this order through the powers vested in sub-sections 1 and 2 of Section 4 of the Chhattisgarh Atyavashyak Seva Sandharan Tatha Vichchinnata Nivaran Adhiniyam, 1979.
