Received financial assistance through bank linkage
Raipur, 28 June 2023 / Mrs. Suneeta Kunjam, a resident of Village Panchayat Mundagarh of Darbha Janpad in Bastar district, secured the opportunity of self-employment through bank linkage. She is leading a happy and fulfilled life with her family while running a grocery shop in her village.
Suneeta said that she joined the Lakshmi Mata Women’s Self-Help Group under the National Rural Livelihood Mission in 2019. She received financial assistance for self-employment through RF, CIF, and bank linkage, on account of which she established a grocery shop in 2020. She earns a monthly income of nearly Rs. 3–7 thousand from the shop. Sunita said that there are a total of five members in her family, including her husband and three children. The income obtained from the small business is quite sufficient to support them. She is also able to afford a good education for her children.
