On the lines of Swasth Bachpan, Sunehra Bhavishya of Chirayu Yojana, another successful treatment became possible

Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 3 April . During a school health check-up, Chirayu team, under the direction of Collector Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui, discovered that Kunal Tandon, a 10-year-old boy in class IV of Vishalpur Primary School, had an undescended testis, in this condition testes do not descend into the scrotum after birth. Its only treatment is surgery.

As a result of the team’s inquiry, Kunal was referred to District Hospital Raigarh from Chirayu Refer ID – 1030711364. On February 17, 2023, the Chirayu team returned to Kunal’s school and visited his parents with the assistance of instructors, motivating them to get required treatment. After that, on March 15, 2023, Kunal was admitted to District Hospital Raigarh by Dr. Badri Vishal Pankaj of Chirayu Team, and on March 20, 2023, Kunal was successfully operated on. Kunal is recovering well from his surgery. Chirayu’s team is constantly getting information about Kunal’s health. The ambitious National Child Health Program “Chirayu” of the Chhattisgarh Government, based on “Swasth Bachpan, Sunehra Bhavishya,” has provided good health to poor youngster Kunal through another successful treatment.

In this successful operation of Kunal, the guidance of Chief Medical and Health Officer of district Sarangarh Bilaigarh Dr. F R Nirala, Block Medical Officer Dr. Sidar and District Program Manager Mr. Izardar was there. Kunal’s free treatment was made possible by the untiring efforts of Chirayu Yojana’s nodal Dr. P D Khare, Chirayu team’s Dr. Badri Vishal Pankaj, Dr. Babita Patel, Dr. Prabha Sarathi, Dr. Namrata Minj, Pharmacist Hingleshwari Kurre, Yogeshwar Chandram and ANM Mongra Kanwar, where RHO Vikas Chauhan, CHO Neema of the concerned area have also contributed in this successful work. It was not possible to spend lakhs of rupees on this type of operation, but the Chirayu scheme under Ayushman Bharat made it possible by operating my son for free, said Kunals’ mother, expressing gratitude towards the administration.
