CM Bhupesh Baghel had lunch at the house of a farmer in Village Lafa

Relished the delicious taste of local Tomato Chutney

Raipur 13 January . Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had lunch at the house of a farmer Shri Horilal Raj in Village Lafa falling under the Pali-Tanakhar assembly constituency of Korba district. He was on a visit to the village as a part of his ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. He relished the delicious taste of the famous ‘Chirpoti Tamatar Chutney’ (cherry tomato chutney) of the Chaithurgarh area. On his arrival at the house, the family members accorded a traditional welcome to the chief minister with ‘aarti’ and a flower bouquet.

The Chhattisgarhi platter included rice, dal, roti, local tomato chutney, lal bhaji, sarso bhaji, semi kulthi dal, khatta salga bada, masala Jimmi Kanda, deshi bada, kheer, papad, and salad.

Farmer Shri Horilal Raj, School Education and District Incharge Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Revenue Minister Shri Jai Singh Agrawal, Korba MP Smt. Jyotsana Mahant, Pali-Tanakhar MLA Shri Mohit Kerketta, Katghora MLA Shri Purushottam Kanwar, Chhattisgarh Cow Service Commission member Shri Prashant Mishra also had lunch with Chief Minister.

Chief Minister thanked Shri Raj and his family for the delicious Chhattisgarhi food and also presented gifts to them. Farmer Horilal said that he never thought that the Chief Minister would ever have a meal at his house. He added that he would always remember this moment.
