Surguja kickboxing players shine at National League with four medal wins
Raipur 18 November 2024// Four players from Surguja brought glory to the state by clinching two gold, one silver, and one bronze medal in the Professional National Kickboxing League, held from November 10 to 14 in Coorg, Karnataka. The medal-winning athletes met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at his residence office to share their achievements. Chief Minister congratulated them and wished them a bright future.
In the competition organized by the WAKO India Kickboxing Federation, Swati Rajwade from Surguja won a gold medal in the under-60 kg weight category, while Sarvar Ekka clinched gold in the under-50 kg category. Satyam Sahu secured a silver medal in the under-70 kg category, and Sanjana Minj earned a bronze medal in the under-50 kg category.
On this occasion, President of Kickboxing Association of Chhattisgarh, Shri Chhagan Lal Mundra, along with Executive President Shri Tarakesh Mishra, Secretary Shri Akash Guru Diwan, and team coach Shri Khilawan Das, were present to celebrate the achievements.
