More than 100 officers-employees and school children participated in the run and gave the message of cleanliness
Under Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan 2024 of Government of India, SECL organized a Happy Run in Bilaspur city. More than 100 officers-employees and children of DAV School participated in the run and gave the message of cleanliness.
The run was flagged off by First Lady of SECL family and Shraddha Mahila Mandal President Smt. Poonam Mishra and SECL Director Technical (Operations) Shri SN Kapri, Director (Personnel) Shri Biranchi Das, Director (Finance) Shri D Sunil Kumar, CVO Shri Himanshu Jain and Shraddha Mahila Mandal, Vice President Smt. Sangeeta Kapri, and respected members Smt. Anita Franklin and Smt. Ipsita Das.
Starting from SECL Vasant Vihar Colony, the run ended at SECL Nehru Shatabdi Nagar. During the entire run, the participants ran with enthusiasm and gave the message of cleanliness.
Tribute paid to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on 155th Gandhi Jayanti
After the run, on the occasion of 155th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, First Lady of SECL family and Shraddha Mahila Mandal President Mrs. Poonam Mishra, SECL Functional Directors and CVO, Trade Union representatives, Heads of Departments, Officers and Employees paid tribute to Gandhiji by offering garlands and flowers to his statue at Gandhi Udyan.
It is known that in the initial phase of Special Campaign 4.0, SECL has conducted “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign from 14th September to 2nd October, under which special cleaning campaigns were run to clean public places, especially rivers. Cleanliness is being promoted by organizing various programs including felicitation ceremony of Safai Mitras in headquarters and operational areas.
