Jandarshan : Khapri villagers receive assurances from Chief Minister on road, school, and Panchayat upgrades

Raipur 08 August 2024// Villagers and Panchayat representatives from Gram Panchayat Khapri in the Gunderdehi block of Balod district attended Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s Jandarshan today to present their demands and problems. Chief Minister has directed the relevant officials to take immediate action on these issues.

Sarpanch Smt. Janak Bai Sahu informed the Chief Minister about the poor condition of the access road from Payala to village Iraguda, which has become severely dilapidated and causes major commuting difficulties. She also highlighted that the village streets are unpaved and become muddy during the rainy season. Besides, she requested the construction of an art stage in the village and upgrade of the dependent village Bhothipar to an independent Panchayat.

The public representatives also noted that Swami Atmanand School in Gunderdehi is facing disruptions in studies due to the lack of a proper building. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai took these concerns seriously and assured that the problems would be addressed promptly.

The villagers expressed their enthusiasm and gratitude for the Chief Minister’s assurances, stating that his sensitivity to their issues is greatly appreciated. Deputy Sarpanch Shri Santat Ram Sahu, along with Shri Chunnu Ram Sahu, Shri Gopal, Shri Sureet Lal Sukhnandan, Smt. Kesh Lata, Smt. Yog Lata, Smt. Bharti, and other Panchayat members were present also present.
