Chitrakote Mahotsav: Chief Minister inaugurates and lays foundation stones for 643 development projects worth Rs 208.32 crore

Raipur, March 5, 2024// Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the ‘Chitrakote Mahotsav’ of Bastar district today. During the event, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 643 development projects, collectively valued at over Rs 208.32 crore, spanning across all districts of the Bastar division. Among these, 177 projects were inaugurated, totalling Rs 104 crore 20 lakh 61 thousand, while foundation stones were laid for 466 projects amounting to Rs 104 crore 11 lakh 65 thousand.

Chief Minister Shri Sai commenced the inauguration by unveiling 31 development projects in Bastar district, worth Rs 12 crore 40 lakh 69 thousand. Additionally, he inaugurated 08 projects in Sukma district, valued at Rs 10 crore 27 lahks, and 03 projects in Narayanpur district, costing Rs 35 lakh 24 thousand, 104 projects in Bijapur district, totalling Rs 25 crore 83 lakh 18 thousand, followed by 15 projects in Kondagaon district amounting to Rs 1 crore 08 lakh 46 thousand. Furthermore, 14 projects were launched in Kanker district, with a cumulative cost of Rs 47 crore 10 lakh 70 thousand, and 02 projects in Dantewada district, valued at Rs 07 crore 15 lakh 28 thousand.

He also laid the foundation stone for 108 development projects worth Rs 10 crore 45 lakh 75 thousand in Bastar district, 06 development projects worth Rs 8 crore 50 lakh 86 thousand in Sukma district, and 14 development projects worth Rs 8 crore 73 lakh 77 thousand in Narayanpur district, among others.

Forest and Cooperation Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Jagdalpur MLA Shri Kiran Deo, Bastar MLA Shri Lakheshwar Baghel, Chitrakote MLA Shri Vinayak Goyal, District Panchayat President Smt. Vedwati Kashyap, Vice President Shri Maniram Kashyap, Mayor Smt. Safira Sahu, District Panchayat member Smt. Padma Kashyap, District Panchayat Lohandiguda President Shri Mahesh Kashyap, and Chitrakote Sarpanch Smt. Butki Kashyap were also present on the occasion.
