Raipur 02 February 2024// Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma visited a private hospital in Mowa, Raipur on Friday to inquire about the health of Jawans injured in a Naxal encounter on January 30 in Tekulagudem of Sukma district. Minister Shri Verma expressed concern for the injured Jawans and gathered necessary information about their treatment from doctors. He commended the Jawans for their selfless fight against Maoists.
On January 30, three Jawans lost their lives in an encounter with Naxalites in Tekulagudem village, Jagargunda police station area of Sukma district. The brave Jawans we lost were Constable Shri Deven C. and Constable Shri Pawan Kumar from the 201 Cobra CRPF battalion, along with Constable Shri Lambadhar Singha from the 150th battalion. A total of 16 Jawans sustained injuries in the incident, eight of whom were shifted to a private hospital in Raipur to ensure better treatment.
