PM Shri KendriyaVidyalayaJanjgir , celebrates a painting competition on Parakram Diwas to commemorate birth anniversary of NetajiSubhas Chandra Bose Under the Guidance Of KVS (HQ), NewDelhi.

The Indian government in 2021 declared that the birth anniversary of NetajiSubhas Chandra Bose, a prominent Indian freedom fighter, is celebrated annually as “ParakramDiwas”. The decision was taken to honour the contributions he made towards India’s freedom struggle.The decision to celebrate Bose’s birth anniversary as “ParakramDiwas” was announced in 2021 by Prime Minister NarendraModi in a tweet. He stated that the day will be celebrated to honour the bravery and valour of Bose, and to inspire future generations to follow his ideals of courage and sacrifice.

“ParakramDiwas” is celebrated with various events and programs across the country. A district level painting competition is organized in PM Shri KendriyaVidyalayaJanjgiron 23 January 2024 underParikshaPeCahrcha 2024. In this competition, hundred students of fifteen different Schoolsof State Govt. as well as CBSE school of Janjgir district are participated on the given theme Exam warrior suggested by Hon’ble Prime Minister.

The programme is started with the welcome speech by Sh. Khushal Chandra,Principal ,PM Shri KendriyaVidyalaya,Janjgir. He paid homage to NetajiSubhas Chandra Bose on the occasion of ParakramDiwas today, January 23. In a message, he said Netaji epitomises exceptional courage and patriotism and his leadership encouraged millions to join the country’s freedom struggle. The Principal also added that Indians will remain forever indebted to him.He appealed to recommit to building an India that Netaji envisioned. Remembering Netaji as a leader with great vision, charisma, and character. The Principal said thatschooling is our first contact with the world, a period of joy, healthy competition, fearing, adjustments, sharing and love. It is not the wide open spaces, classrooms, library, laboratories or the large fields that make a Vidyalaya but it is the heart of the students and Staff where a true institution exists.

According to academic analysts, the youth of future generation are going to be more prone to violence and abnormal behaviour. This declining trend is a matter of great concern to parents as well as teachers.Learning is neither a process limited to schools and colleges only, nor does it end with the conclusion of one’s school career. It is indeed a lifelong process. This Vidyalaya is oriented to the total formation of a child and to adaptations of various methods suiting the dynamics of changing world in order to achieve common goals and objectives. It is further characterized by shared vision-responsibility and above all, love and faith in God, in order to achieve these goals. At last of the programme, Out of hundred painting the best Five Paintings are selected for sharing it to KVS Regional Office, Raipur.

All Children received a book on Exam Warrior on this competition and feel very happy and enthusiasm to participate in this competition.Students express their deep appreciation and gratitude for unwavering dedication, passion, and belief in their abilities. They said thanks for being an inspiration their life. They said that dedication and passion for teaching have made a lasting impact on us. They feel grateful for the knowledge and guidance teachers have been provided. They give thanks to such organization for making learning fun and exciting. They extend their thanks for their creativity and enthusiasm which helped them to discover a love for education that they never knew.
