Average rainfall of 1055.0 mm recorded in Chhattisgarh so far

Highest rainfall in the state recorded in Bijapur district and least rainfall in Surguja district

Raipur, 29 September 2023/According to the information compiled by the state-level control room of State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, an average rainfall of 1055.0 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2023. The highest average rainfall has been recorded in Bijapur district i.e. 1679.3 mm and the lowest in Surguja district i.e. 479.6 mm. Average rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from 01 June 2023 to today morning of 29 September are as follows:- 773.8 mm in Surajpur district, 968.7 mm in Balrampur, 900.8 mm in Jashpur, 919.8 mm in Korea, 902.7 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, 1189.3 mm in Raipur district, 1203.7 mm in Balodabazar, 930.8 mm in Gariaband, 1035.7 mm in Mahasamund, 966.6 mm in Dhamtari, 1258.1 mm in Bilaspur, 1360.1 mm in Mungeli, 1231.6 mm in Raigarh, 978.9 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 1198.9 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 1050.1 mm in Sakti, 1045.2 mm in Korba, 1113.3 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 896.2 mm in Durg, 925.6 mm in Kabeerdham district, 1152.2 mm in Rajnandgaon, 1267.4 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, 1085.4 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 1012.5 mm in Balod, 934.7 mm in Bemetra, 1039.1 mm in Bastar, 1051.5 in Kondagaon. mm, 989.0 mm in Kanker, 938.5 mm in Narayanpur, 1053.3 mm in Dantewada and 1401.9 mm in Sukma.
