Junior doctors expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for increasing the scholarship

The delegation of the Junior Doctors Association met with Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office on Sunday. The delegation expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the decision to increase the stipends of junior doctors.

It is noteworthy that the state government has increased the stipends for junior doctors in the state. According to the new rates, PG first-year students will now receive Rs. 67,500 per month (previously Rs. 53,550) as stipends, PG second-year students will receive Rs. 71,450 per month (previously Rs. 56,700), and PG third-year students will receive Rs. 74,600 per month (previously Rs. 59,200). Additionally, the state government has raised the stipends for M.B.B.S. internship students to Rs. 15,900 per month (previously Rs. 12,600), resulting in increments ranging from Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 15,000 for junior doctors.
