Chhattisgarh Government increases stipends for Junior Doctors

Raipur, 05 August 2023/ Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced via Twitter that the stipends for junior doctors in the state will be increased. Expressing delight, he informed the public about the decision. According to the new rates, PG first-year students will now receive Rs. 67,500 per month (previously Rs. 53,550) as stipends, PG second-year students will receive Rs. 71,450 per month (previously Rs. 56,700), and PG third-year students will receive Rs. 74,600 per month (previously Rs. 59,200). Additionally, the state government has raised the stipends for M.B.B.S. internship students to Rs. 15,900 per month (previously Rs. 12,600), resulting in increments ranging from Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 15,000 for junior doctors.
