Citizens embrace ‘Mitan Yojana’ for swift and hassle-free government document doorstep delivery
Raipur 05 August 2023// There was a time when children had to take leave from school, go through the hassles of obtaining domicile and caste-related documents, and visit various administrative offices. However, now, without having to take leave or disrupt their daily routines, government documents are being delivered to homes without the need to visit offices. This has become possible due to Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel’s initiative called ‘Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana’.
Shri Sandeep Baghel, a resident of Tikrapara in Raipur, received significant assistance in obtaining caste and domicile certificates for his children through the Mitan Yojana. Shri Sandeep, being a businessman, availed the benefit of the scheme and received his children’s required certificates within just one week, conveniently delivered to his doorstep.
Sandeep mentioned that he needed domicile and caste certificates for his children. Upon inquiring about the process at the government office, he expressed that being occupied with his advocacy and flour mill business from morning till evening, he couldn’t spare time to visit the offices.
Shri Sandeep stated that the need for caste and domicile certificates arose repeatedly due to scholarships and other activities, and his children kept requesting him, but he couldn’t find time to visit the government office. That’s when he learned about the Mitan Yojana. He promptly called the Mitan call center number 14545 and booked an appointment. The caller provided him with information about the required documents, and the best part was that he could choose a suitable time at his convenience. At the scheduled time, Mitan visited his house, collected the necessary documents such as photographs and Aadhar cards, and charged a nominal fee of just Rs 50. Within a week, his children’s caste and domicile certificates were made available at his doorstep.
Heaping praise on the scheme initiated by Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, he called it a thoughtful initiative. He also informed his neighbours about it and assisted them in obtaining the necessary documents for their children.
It is worth mentioning that with the inception of the scheme, citizens are now receiving 17 types of government documents, including income, caste, and domicile certificates, right at their doorsteps with ease. The citizens have shown great interest in this scheme, and they can contact the toll-free number 14545 to get essential information about obtaining government documents.
