In the ‘Bhent-Mulakat with Youth’ programme, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel is engaging in direct conversation with the youth came from Rajnandgaon, Kawardha, Balod, Bemetara, Khairagarh, Manpur-Mohla-Ambagarh Chowki, and Durg districts.

  • Digvijay College student, Ishwari, stated that during these 5 years, she realized that we have all become safer. We are making rapid progress and excelling in the field of entrepreneurship.
  • Mukesh Kumar Sahu, a student of Government Medical College Rajnandgaon, recited a poem centered around the theme ‘Gadhbo Nava Chhattisgarh.’

In his poem, Mukesh presented an overview of the public welfare schemes being implemented by the Chhattisgarh Government.

  • Mr Kamlesh Sahu from Digvijay College mentioned that Ms Gyaneshwari, who won international medals, hails from our region.

If we aspire to compete internationally, we need physical education (PT) teachers even in the villages.

Chief Minister stated that previously, there were only two residential sports academies. Now, there are eight. We are putting in special efforts to promote sports. For this, we can have agreements with coaches for schools for a specific period.

Chief Minister highlighted that our athletes have won 13 medals. I request you to visit the stadiums in Bastar, Rajnandgaon, and Bilaspur. The people of Bhilai also exhibit great enthusiasm for sports. Even lesser-known sports are being organized. Athletes from Abujhmad athletes have gained nationwide recognition in Mallakhamb.

Your suggestion is excellent, and we will certainly consider it.

  • Mr Harish Sahu requested recruitment in Ayurveda, mentioning that he is from Medki village in Bemetara. He also asked for appointment of the same in health centers. Chief Minister stated that there are currently 121 vacancies, and more will be announced.

Nursing student Ms Sanjana Sahu mentioned that their institution lacks a building. Chief Minister assured her that a building will be constructed soon.

A student demanded a stipend increment. Chief Minister assured that it will be addressed, as they are already considering it.

Mr Vimal Soni stated that he is from Dashrangpur Kabirdham and is preparing for police recruitment. Chief Minister said that they will consider it soon, once the other departmental appointments are completed. The process for this will also be initiated accordingly.

  • Kavita Verma, a student at the Agriculture University, expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for establishing an Agriculture School in Marra.

Kavita requested a bus facility for the students and an ICT lab in the college.

Bhent-Mulakat with Youth, Durg

  • Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel stated that our government has disbursed Rs 112 crore as unemployment allowance.

Furthermore, 300 Rural Industrial Parks were established.

An agreement was made with Tata Company to modernize 36 state ITIs, a project worth Rs 1186 crore. This initiative is expected to create employment opportunities for 10,000 youth.

Chief Minister also informed that discussions were held with Tech Mahindra for BPO in Bhilai, which will also contribute to job creation.

  • Arti Deshmukh said that the arrival of software companies in the state will provide more scope in the field of polytechnic.

The Chief Minister said that the government is working in this direction.
