Raipur, 26 July 2023/ Governor Mr. Biswabhusan Harichandan is reviewing all the private universities in the state and their educational activities and research work today. The Secretary of the Higher Education Department Mr. Siddhartha Pardeshi, the Secretary to the Governor Mr. Amrit Khalkho, and the Vice Chancellors of all private universities are present in the meeting. The meeting commenced at 11 a.m. at Raj Bhawan.
In the meeting, the status of the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020, the status of the evaluation of universities and affiliated colleges by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), grading, and efforts being made by institutions to improve NAAC grading will be reviewed. In the meeting, the MoU signed between the university and other higher educational institutions to promote the quality of higher education, the observance of the academic session, the timely release of examinations and results, and information about special research, innovation, etc. done by the universities are being reviewed.
