Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel extends an invitation to Dalai Lama for a visit to the state. The Chairman of Sirpur Special Area Development Authority, Mr. Satish Jaggi, met Dalai Lama in Dharamshala and extended the invitation on behalf of the Chief Minister. Mr. Jaggi presented the Dalai Lama with a state ‘gamchha’ and a memento representing Chhattisgarh.
Chairman of Sirpur Special Area Development Authority, Mr. Jaggi, discussed Chief Minister Mr. Baghel’s plan to develop and establish Sirpur as a World Heritage Site for Buddhist Heritage with Dalai Lama. Mr. Jaggi conveyed the Chief Minister’s invitation to the Dalai Lama for the upcoming World Buddhist Meeting in Sirpur’s Gurugram, scheduled from September 6th to September 9th, 2023.
