Chief Minister Mr. Baghel shared that the state government has established 377 English-medium and 350 Hindi-medium schools in the state under the ‘Swami Atmanand Utkrisht Vidyalaya Yojana’. These schools have gained more popularity than private institutions. The government has prioritised teaching in English to equip children with confidence for global competition. Simultaneously, the state government has made significant efforts to educate students in local dialects as well. Bilingual books in 20 languages and dialects have been developed, enabling children in Chhattisgarh to begin their studies in their mother tongue.
