Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel paid homage to the legendary tribal leader Mr. Birsa Munda on his death anniversary, which is to be observed on June 9. Recognising Mr. Munda’s tireless struggle for the empowerment of tribals, the Chief Minister commended him as a trailblazer of tribal consciousness.
Highlighting the significance of Mr. Munda’s contribution, the Chief Minister emphasised his role in mobilising and uniting tribals, leading them in a movement to assert their rights over Jal-Jungle-Zameen (water, forest, and land). The courage and sacrifice demonstrated by Mr. Munda continue to inspire millions of individuals even today. Mr. Baghel further stressed that Mr.Birsa Munda taught us the power of collective will, which surpasses the might of arms. His unwavering bravery serves as an inspiration for all. Mr. Baghel emphasised that true homage to Mr.Birsa Munda Ji lies in ensuring justice and empowerment for tribal communities.
