Lara holds Shift charge Engineer meet 2023


RAIGARH, 18 May. Shri Arindam Sinha, ED (OS) inaugurated the Shift Charge Engineer’s meet at Lara on 17th May 2023. Addressing the engineers, Shri Sinha stressed on high operational efficiency and unit availability to meet real time energy demand. The meet will continue till 20th May 2023.


Shift charge engineers across all NTPC stations are participating in this to actualize the strategy to increase unit reliability and competency development of power units. Theme of this meet is “Redefining Strategies for Increasing Unit Reliability and Competency Development”. Core competency of NTPC is operational excellence. With increasing capacity and the leader in the power sector NTPC emerges as a Global Power company with its international presence. Various issues related to the operation of power plants and new developments will be discussed and shared by the participants so that they can handle it and provide reliable power and contribute for national development.
