At the Bhent-Mulakat programme organized in village Kadar of Bhatapara assembly constituency, Chief Minister announced that ADM office will be established in Bhatapara, the road from Balodabazar to Bhatapara will be widened and a well-furnished ‘Mandi’ will also be built in Bhatapara. He also made important announcements like opening of police station at Nipania and construction of indoor stadium at Bhatapara and opening of District Cooperative Bank branch at Bitkuli.

On the occasion, Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation of the development works worth more than Rs 128 crore 54 lakh. This includes bhumipujan/foundation laying of 174 development works worth Rs 56 crore 18 lakh and inaguration of 36 development works worth Rs 72 crore 35 lakh. Meanwhile, Chief Minister inquired about the implementation of various development schemes. Parliamentary Secretary and Kasdol MLA Ms. Shakuntala Sahu, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation Mr. Girish Dewangan, Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, Collector Mr. Chandan Kumar, SP Mr. Deepak Jha and other officers were present at the programme.

At the programme, Chief Minister had a discussion with the beneficiaries of loan waiver and Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Farmer Deepak Verma told that he has 10 acres of farm, and his loan of Rs 1.25 lakh has been waived off. He told that he has received an incentive of Rs 90 thousand, which he used for buying a scooty, which has made it easier for his family to commute. Sheetla Thakur, who is associated with a group that manufactures vermi compost, told that her group has made 14 thousand quintals of vermi compost and have earned a profit of Rs 2 lakh 85 thousand.
 Brij Bai told that so far, he has earned Rs 30 thousand by selling cow dung, and it has become a source of income for him. He thanked Chief Minister for providing an additional source of income. Neelam Yadav told that she has sold 175 quintals of cow dung and has earned Rs 33,000 from it. She told that she will utilize this amount for her children’s education. Chief Minister said that Wi-Fi will be installed in all the major gauthans.

When Chief Minister inquired about the food aid scheme, Pramila Verma told that our ration card has been issued, and rice, salt, sugar are being made regularly available. She praised the development of Rural Industrial Park and demanded construction of gauthan in Jarhagaon. Pramila said that she is happy with the government’s public welfare initiatives. “Tor Bharosa He Kaka”, (we trust you) said she affectionately.
  Taking advantage of the unemployment allowance, Mamta told that she has received Rs 2500 of unemployment allowance in her account. She said that this is a commendable scheme started by state government. Mamta requested Chief Minister to increase the amount of unemployment allowance. Chief Minister said that our aim is to provide employment to all and provide financial help to the youth while preparing them for employment.
Santrin shared an interesting experience of her at the mobile medical unit. She told that one day she saw a mobile medical vehicle parked at haat-bazaar, and she was curious. She asked the doctor if she will get free medicines there. The doctor said that first her check-up will be done and then she will be provided treatment and medicine. The doctor did the treatment and did not even take the money for the medicine. My health started improving as soon as I took the medicine, said Santrin.
Earlier school fee used to be up to Rs 70 thousand, now students can avail education for free
Chief Minister said that Swami Atmanand English Medium School has brought a major transformation in the field of education. Quality education is now available free of cost. Sneha Shukla, a student studying in Swami Atmanand School in Bhatapara, said that earlier she had to pay a fee of Rs 70,000 at the previous school, now she is availing quality education for free. Sneha said that this has brought major relief to her parents, as they can now invest in her higher education. Aas said that she has passed class XII with 85 percent. School teachers have played an important role in her success. Aas also recited a poem before the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister’s announcements

At the programme today, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel announced construction of Swami Atmanand English School in Karhi Mekri, construction of road from Kosmanda to Akaltara, construction of building for Shivlal Mehta High School, upgrading of the High School of Gram Panchayat Akaltara to Higher Secondary, construction of various CCs in village Kadar, construction of road, beautification of pond in Kodwa and construction of Dhabni Pulia, Rapta from Khardhar in Simga block. He also announced beautification of Mavlimata Temple Singarpur approach road and said that the temple will be soon developed as a tourist destination.
