Chief Minister presents 'Suposhan kit' to twin sisters

The Chhattisgarh Government, led by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, has consistently shown its commitment to the welfare of the needy, impoverished individuals, and children. This commitment was once again exemplified when Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel personally presented nutrition kits to Pushpa and Ruby, twin sisters aged three and a half, who were suffering from malnutrition, during his state-wide ‘Bhent-Mulakat Abhiyan’ in the village of Kadar, located in the Bhatapara Assembly Constituency of the Balodabazar district on Monday. Chief Minister displayed his compassionate nature towards the twin sisters and advised their mother to provide special care for her children, while also urging her to take advantage of the ‘Mukhyamantri Suposhan Yojana’ and other women and child development schemes offered by the government.

Mrs. Leela Sahu, the mother of the twin sisters, stated that her children have been deprived of their father’s love and affection since he passed away shortly after their birth. Despite the challenges she faces, she manages to raise her daughters with great difficulty. She is currently benefiting from government schemes and receives timely rations. Additionally, both girls attend the Anganwadi center, where the availability of hot and nutritious food has resulted in a noticeable increase in their weight. Their condition of malnutrition has significantly improved, and they receive regular health check-ups to ensure their well-being.
