The Sahu family welcomed the Chief Minister with traditional ‘aarti’, applied tilak, and presented him with a floral bouquet and Shrifal

Under his statewide ‘Bhent-Mulakat’ Abhiyan, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited village Kadar which falls under Bhatapara Assembly Constituency. After Bhent-Mulakat in village Kadar, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached farmer Dheluram Sahu’s house for lunch.
The family members warmly welcomed him with traditional ‘aarti’ and applied tilak, presenting him with a floral bouquet and shawl. The Chief Minister enjoyed the delicious taste of Chhattisgarhi cuisine lovingly served by the Sahu family. The traditional Chhattisgarhi platter included rice, dal, roti, and a variety of dishes such as Kanda Bhaji, Laal Bhaji, Munga-Badi, Khatta Jimmi Kanda, Aaloo Parval, Kumhda Sabzi, papad, salad, and aam chutney grinded in mortar and pestle.
Farmer Dheluram Sahu, his son, and his daughter-in-law felt honored to share a meal with the Chief Minister. In return, the Chief Minister expressed his gratitude by presenting them with gifts for their delicious food.
The family members were overjoyed to see the Chief Minister dining with them. Mr. Sahu told the Chief Minister that he owns 3.5 acres of land. He has one son and a differently-abled brother in his family; they all live together in a joint family. His family members are involved in labor work along with farming. Mr. Sahu stated that his family is obtaining sufficient ration through the ration card issued by the government. He also stated that their electricity bill had significantly reduced due to the Half Electricity Bill Scheme. He thanked the Chief Minister for the various welfare schemes launched by the present government and the benefits they have brought to the people.
Chairman of Mineral Development Corporation Mr. Girish Dewangan, Parliamentary Secretary Ms. Shakuntala Sahu, Chairman of Animal Welfare Board Mr. Vidya Bhushan Shukla, Chairman of Krishi Upaj Mandi Bhatapara Mr. Sushil Shukla were also present along with the Chief Minister on the occasion.
