Raipur, July 7, 2026/
Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission (Bihan), under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, will celebrate the first anniversary of its flagship “Didi Ke Goth” programme with the “Didi Ke Goth Annual Celebration 2026” and Cluster-Level Organisation Conference on July 9, 2026, at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Raipur.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will attend the event as the chief guest, while Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayat & Rural Development Minister Shri Vijay Sharma will preside over the programme. Public representatives, government officials, women from self-help groups (SHGs) and representatives from various sections of society are expected to participate.
It may be noted that the first episode of “Didi Ke Goth” was broadcast in August 2025 and focused on the theme of “Lakhpati Didi”. Thereafter, on the second Thursday of every month, women from self-help groups across various districts of the state shared inspiring success stories on themes such as Drone Didi, Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), gender, Saras Mela, financial literacy, cyber security and the “Chhattiskala” brand. A special broadcast marking the one-year successful journey of “Didi Ke Goth” will air on July 9, 2026.
The event will also showcase the programme’s achievements over the past year, felicitate participating women and discuss the roadmap for future initiatives. Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission-Bihan has invited citizens, stakeholders, self-help groups and members of the print and electronic media to attend the programme.
