Justice Ramesh Sinha administered the oath of office as 15th Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court

Raipur, March 30. Governor Mr. Biswabhushan Harichandan administered the oath of office to Chief Justice of the High Court, Chhattisgarh to Justice Mr. Ramesh Sinha in the Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan. Prior to this, Mr. Ramesh Sinha was posted as a judge in the Allahabad High Court. Governor Shri Harichandan handed over a copy of the original warrant issued by the President to Chief Justice Shri Ramesh Sinha. Governor and Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel congratulated Chief Justice Mr. Sinha by presenting a bouquet.

On this occasion, Agriculture and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Leader of Opposition Shri Narayan Chandel, Former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, MLA Mr. Brijmohan Agarwal, President of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mr. Kuldeep Juneja was also present.

Meanwhile, judges of the chhattisgarh high court including mrs. Shalini Sinha, wife of chief justice mr. sinha was present in the ceremony. The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by the Chief Secretary of the state Mr. Amitabh Jain and he read out the warrant issued by the President.On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretaries Mrs. Renu Ji Pillay and Mr. Subrat Sahu, Director General of Police Mr. Ashok Juneja, Secretary to the Governor Mr. Amrit Kumar Khalkho, Advocate General Mr. Satishchandra Verma, Registrar General of High Court Bilaspur Mr. Arvind Verma and other senior officials of the state government. And High Court advocates were present. It is noteworthy that Mr. Sinha will be the 15th Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh.
