Jagesh had lost his one leg and his father in a road accident

Raipur, 21 February . Jagesh, a 14-year-old boy who received a prosthetic limb, stated, “I never believed I’d be able to walk again,”  I can now walk again. I now have a new life. Jagesh, a resident of Khairagarh’s Saloni village, lost his father, late Suklal Verma, and his one leg in a road accident five years ago. There was darkness in his life as a result of this combined sadness. His family was devastated by the accident. Jagesh, a differently-abled boy, now has a new lease on life after the Social Welfare Department fitted him with a free prosthetic limb at the State Resource Rehabilitation Center (PRRC) in Mana, Raipur.
Jagesh has also been given training to walk with a prosthetic limb at the center. Now he can walk, play, and stand on his feet.

Meanwhile, Jagesh visited with Dr. Jagdish Sonkar, collector of Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district, and explained his situation before applying for a prosthetic limb. In response to the application, the Collector directed employees from the Social Welfare Department to take prompt action. Jagesh was accepted to the State Resource Rehabilitation Center after two months due to departmental readiness, he was provided with a prosthetic limb from Raipur, and he has safely returned to his home village Saloni. Jagesh is quite happy, said one of the departmental officer, because he now goes to school and performs all of his work by himself.
