As part of the celebrations leading up to the International Day of Yoga 2026, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) organized a “Yoga at Workplace” programme on 17 June 2026 at the CMD Auditorium, SECL Headquarters, Bilaspur. In line with this year’s International Day of Yoga theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” the programme encouraged employees to adopt a healthy and balanced lifestyle through regular yoga and pranayama practices.

The programme was graced by SECL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Shri Harish Duhan, Director (Human Resources) Shri Biranchi Das, and Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Himanshu Jain. Departmental Heads, officers, and a large number of employees from the headquarters also participated in the session.

The yoga session was conducted by Shri Preet Pal Singh Gumbar, Senior Yoga Instructor from The Art of Living. He emphasized that regular yoga not only improves physical health but also helps reduce stress, enhance concentration, boost productivity, and foster a positive mindset.

Participants enthusiastically took part in the yoga exercises and pledged to make yoga an integral part of their daily lives for overall well-being. The programme aimed to strengthen the physical, mental, and emotional health of employees while promoting a culture of wellness and well-being in the workplace.
