For strengthening internal preparedness to defend any disaster or accident, NTPC Lara in association with CISF unit NTPC Lara and NDRF 3rd battalion holds the mock drill on CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) emergencies on 21st March 2022. To strengthen internal safety and security such mock drill was organized.
On this occasion the mock drill was demonstrated the entire process of happening a fire accident at oil tank. All the process were demonstrated as per standard operating process of disaster mitigation guideline.
The process was started with budging the siren to informing different internal and external officials and stake holders whose services are required during such incident.
After successful completion, Shri Alok Gupta, Executive Director (NTPC Lara) congratulated the NDRF personnel for holding such muck drill to understand the process to deal any accident at industry.
Shri P Panigrahi, Addl. Director (IB) was the observer of this operation. He examined the entire process and gave his valuable suggestion for better cooperation and coordination among different stake holders.
Among others B Kujur, Dist fire Commandant, K S Gupta, ASI, Police, Dharmendra Kumar, DCIO (IB), Vijender Singh, Asst Commandant (CISF), shri JSS Murty, GM (O&M) other GMs and senior officials were present.
