Anand Mela attracts attention at Indus Public School

KORBA, Dec 24 Indus Public School organised a special cultural program named as Fun Fiesta, on Thursday. Students from 8th to 12th standard took care of all the organisational work. Several different stalls with colourful embellishments and delicious dishes attracted the onlookers. The students had prepared maggi, pasta, pattis, ice cream, chaat, gupchup, lassi, momos and samosa. Some stalls also gained popularity by organising different games. 
The program began with lamp lighting and garlanding the portrait of Goddess Saraswati. ACB Director Rajveer Narwal attended the program as chief guest. Students of pre primary and primary section presented beautiful cultural performances like songs, dance and fancy dress. Large number of parents reached to witness the program. 


Chief Guest Narwal said that such programs help in all-round development of the children and they gain confidence. School Principal Dr Sanjay Gupta said that organising extra curricular activities is essential for mental development of the children. The students gain several important values of life and learn work in a team. School Academic Convenor Sabyasachi Sarkar said that the Anand Mela trained students in financial transactions and provide them with a platform to showcase their creativity. The program was successfully anchored by Nivedita Swen.
