SECL signed an MoU with the Indian Red Cross Society, Chhattisgarh Branch for providing a Fully Equipped Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance for emergency health services in Raipur, with financial assistance of ₹50 lakh under its CSR initiative.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri Biranchi Das, Director (HR), SECL.
Dr. Rupal Purohit, General Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, signed the MoU on behalf of IRCS, while officials – Shri Arnab Mondal, Manager (CD), Shri Sampath Gelam, Manager (CD), Ms. Kiran Dahanga, Deputy Manager (CD) from the CSR Department, SECL were also present during the signing.
This ALS ambulance—equipped with advanced critical-care and life-saving medical equipment—will significantly enhance emergency response and patient transport capabilities for citizens of Raipur. It will be operated and maintained by the Indian Red Cross Society, ensuring timely and reliable medical assistance during emergencies.
By supporting this humanitarian initiative, SECL reaffirms its commitment to strengthening public health infrastructure and enabling safer emergency medical services for the common public.
