Raipur, 02 September 2021,During his visit to village Tavadabra in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel had made an announcement on September 01 regarding the opening of ashram hostels in the district, on request of Saraswati, a Baiga tribal schoolgirl. The department has taken immediate action to implement the announcement of Chief Minister. Saraswati Baiga had requested Chief Minister to start Kamla Nehru Pre-Matric Tribal Girls Hostel at Jyotipur in Gaurela. This hostel has started from today on September 02. The girl students of this hostel have thanked Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for keeping his promise.
With the opening of this hostel, it would become easier for the children of remote areas to go to their schools and study. Earlier when this hostel was shut down, it had become nearly impossible for the children of distant villages to attend school, which located about 20-25 kms from their home. With the sensitive decision of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, now the problem of many students including the tribal schoolgirl Saraswati Baiga has been resolved.
