RAIGARH, July 4 Newly posted SP of the district, Abhishek Meena took charge on Saturday, while the former SP Santosh Singh left for his new charge at Koriya. IPS of 2010 cader, Abhishek Meena received a warm welcome from the department officials and said that checking crime rate in the district shall be his priority.
SP Meena reached the district on Saturday, through road way, and received salute from the armed forces at SP office. SP Singh formally transferred the charge to SP Meena and left for Koriya. Several SHOs reached the office to welcome the new SP. Meena said that checking the crime rate shall be his priority and he expects public cooperation for the same. He will also pay close attention to general law abidance in the district. Speaking about his plans for the district, he said that he will first study the district socially and geographically and then work for general welfare and law and order.
