Polish Delegation Impressed by Chhattisgarh’s Natural Beauty and Rich Cultural Heritage
Raipur, February 10, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met a delegation of Poland’s Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs at his residence today. Welcoming the delegation to Chhattisgarh, the Chief Minister presented them with a symbolic Bastar Art memento. During the meeting, the Chief Minister highlighted the state’s rich cultural heritage, abundant mineral reserves, vast forest wealth, and tourism potential, while also discussing opportunities for economic investment. He emphasized that Chhattisgarh is rapidly progressing on the path of economic growth, offering a favorable environment for industrial development. He invited investors from Poland and other European nations to explore investment opportunities in the state.
The Polish delegation expressed great admiration for Chhattisgarh’s natural beauty and cultural diversity.
Strengthening Bilateral Ties Between India and Poland
Chairman of Poland’s Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, Mr. Pawel Kowal, expressed his delight at visiting Chhattisgarh. He mentioned that their visit to Purkhauti Muktangan provided a glimpse into the vibrant culture of the state.

Referring to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visit to Poland last year, he stated, “It was after nearly 45 years that an Indian Prime Minister visited Poland. This visit significantly strengthened India-Poland relations. As part of this growing relationship, we are now visiting various Indian states to explore cooperation opportunities. Chhattisgarh has immense potential for collaboration, making this visit particularly important for us.”
He also conveyed his gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to the delegation in Chhattisgarh.
Chhattisgarh – A Hub for Industrial Investment
During the discussions, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized that Chhattisgarh has made remarkable progress in its 25-year journey since its formation. As India’s ninth-largest state, it plays a crucial role in the country’s economic development, particularly in sectors like mining, forestry, energy, and tourism.
Secretary of the Industries Department, Shri Rajat Kumar, provided an overview of the state’s new industrial policy, highlighting various incentives and infrastructural support available for investors. A brief PowerPoint presentation was also showcased, covering Chhattisgarh’s industrial ecosystem, cultural heritage, and tourism opportunities.
Chhattisgarh – ‘A Gateway to Golden Investment Opportunities’
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai assured the delegation that his government is committed to fostering a business-friendly environment, with a strong focus on Ease of Doing Business. He extended an invitation to European investors, emphasizing the state’s favorable industrial policies and world-class infrastructure.
The meeting was attended by Chief Minister’s Secretaries Shri Mukesh Bansal and Shri P. Dayanand, along with Director of the Culture Department, Shri Vivek Acharya, and other senior officials.
