Bilaspur,26 January 2025.The 76th Republic Day celebrations were celebrated with great enthusiasm today at SECL’s Vasant Vihar Ground. The Chief Guest of the program, CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the parade.
On this occasion, Director Technical (Operations & Project/Planning) Mr. N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Personnel) Mr. Biranchi Das and CVO Mr. Himanshu Jain, along with Mr. Nathulal Pandey (HMS), Mr. Haridwar Singh (AITUC), Mr. AK Pandey (CMOAI) from SECL Steering Committee, Shraddha Mahila Mandal President Mrs. Poonam Mishra, honored members Mrs. Anitha Franklin, Mrs. Vineeta Jain, various department heads, labor union representatives, officers-employees, and school children were present.
Attractive tableaux were presented by various operational areas of SECL in the program. In the ceremony, children of DAV Public School, Dreamland, KPS, Loyola and Holy Nursery School presented various patriotic songs and dances.
Along with this, CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra and Shraddha Mahila Mandal President Mrs. Poonam Mishra gave away awards for best parade, bravery during duty, best motherhood, excellent contribution in the field of innovation and the best tableaux.
Among the tableaux, Bhatgaon Area was awarded first prize, Gevra Area was awarded second prize, Chirimiri Area was awarded third prize, Johilla Area was awarded consolation prize and Sohagpur Area was awarded consolation prize.
Earlier, in a programme organised in the premises of SECL Administrative Building, in the presence of SECL Steering Committee members, various department heads, trade union representatives, officers and employees, Director (Personnel) Shri Biranchi Das paid floral tributes at the Shahid Smarak and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar statue and the miner statue situated in the Headquarters Administrative Building and then hoisted the flag and took the salute of the parade organised by the security guards.
