Rajyotsav will be organized from November 4th to November 6th in Atalnagar Naya Raipur
Raipur 24 October 2024 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai reviewed the preparations for Rajyotsav 2024 in his residence office on Thursday. Rajyotsav is being organized from November 4th to November 6th at Rajyotsav Sthal in Naya Raipur.
On completion of 24 years of statehood celebrations, Chief Minister’s Shri Sai has appealed to people of the state to celebrate Rajyotsav with Deepotsav by lighting lamps in their homes on November 1st.
As per the planning for grand celebration, around 10,000 lamps will be lit in Nava Raipur, Atalnagar.
Bus facility will be available for the general public to travel to the Rajyotsav site.
Transport facility will be provided to the general public at concessional rates to travel to the Rajyotsav site in Naya Raipur. During Rajyotsav, cultural programs will be organized every evening at the venue.
Bollywood singers including Shaan and Neeti Mohan and Indian Idol winners Pawandeep and Arunidita will be the center of attraction in the cultural evening.
A program of Bollywood singer Shri Shantanu Mukherjee (Shaan) has been organized on November 4 in the cultural evening, while Neeti Mohan’s program will held on November 5.
On the evening of November 6, the program of Indian Idol winner Pawandeep and Arunidita will be the center of attraction.
State decoration ceremony on November 6
On the last day of Rajyotsav, on November 6, State decoration ceremony will be organized in which individuals and institutions will be honored for doing excellent work in various fields will be honored with state decoration.
Exhibition showcasing major schemes
An exhibition showcasing new schemes of major departmental will be organized by various departments at the Rajyotsav site. Huge stalls will be built for private institutions and PSU institutions. An exhibition will also be organized by the Agriculture and Water Resources Department.
Shilpgram, Food Court, Fan Park will be the center of attraction
Shilpgram and food court will also be built at the Rajyotsav venue including special stall for Tribal community cuisines will also be available here. A fun park will also be built for children where there will be various swings.
Chief Minister’s Agriculture and Policy Advisor Shri Dhirendra Tiwari, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri P Dayanand and Shri Rahul Bhagat, Culture Department Secretary Shri Anbalgan P Director Shri Vivek Acharya and other senior officials were also present in the meeting.
