Chief Minister Shri Sai inaugurates Regional Entrepreneur Conference 2024
Assurance to establish Laghu Udyog Bharati under the Ministry of Land and MSME
Raipur, 18 October 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the Regional Entrepreneur Conference 2024 organized at Agrasen Bhawan Khursipar on Friday.
While addressing the entrepreneur conference, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that organizing the conference by Laghu Udyog Bharati is an important initiative for the development of entrepreneurship and to attract new investors in the state. Laghu Udyog Bharati is a huge organization working in the interest of micro and small industries. It is a matter of pride that this organization has about 1000 units and 65000 members in the country. The organization has also expanded in Tribal areas like Surguja and Bastar. This is definitely giving strength to small and micro industries in these areas and entrepreneurship is developing. Our state has a storehouse of mineral wealth. Around 44 percent of the land here is covered with forests. Our state has hardworking farmers due to which Chhattisgarh is called the rice bowl of India. There is a very good possibility of establishing industry here.
Chief Minister Shri Sai emphasized that preparations are on to launch the new Industry Policy 2024-29 of the state till November. In this policy, special provisions are being made to encourage small and medium industries. On the demand of entrepreneurs, Chief Minister Shri Sai assured land for Laghu Udyog Bharti in Naya Raipur and to establish it under the Ministry of Micro and Small Medium Enterprises MSME in Chhattisgarh on the lines of similar set up in Madhya Pradesh.
During this, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Industry Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan released the book ‘Chhattisgarh Udyog Darpan 2024’ of Laghu Udyog Bharati.
Industry Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan said that our government is constantly making efforts to advance the industry. Single Window System 2.0 has been implemented to simplify the process of setting up industries. Entrepreneurs no longer need to visit various departments. All necessary permissions and licenses will be obtained through this portal. MoU has been done with abroad for the sale of goods produced in industries. Shri Dewangan said that work is being done to expand the industries. Many policies are being implemented by the government to promote the steel industry, which will give impetus to this industry.
On this occasion, Durg City MLA Shri Gajendra Yadav, Durg Rural MLA Shri Lalit Chandrakar and other public representatives as well as Collector Ms Richa Prakash Choudhary, Superintendent of Police Shri Jitendra Shukla, Joint Collector Shri Harvansh Miri along with a large number of entrepreneurs from MP and Chhattisgarh were present.
