Launches mobile apps ‘Hamar Sughar Gaon’ and Samadhan Surajpur App

Raipur, 14 October 2024— Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Karma Mahotsav program in Silauta Pratappur, where he announced several development initiatives for the area. These include the construction of a new SDM office, the Chandora Jajawal road, a rest house, a badminton court, and a first referral unit to enhance medical facilities for pregnant women.

During the event, Chief Minister Sai launched the ‘Hamar Sughar Gaon’ initiative, aimed at creating clean and healthy villages in Surajpur district, and introduced the WhatsApp-based chatbot platform, Samadhan Surajpur App, designed to address citizens’ concerns. He also released the ‘Vikas Patrika,’ a progress report on district development works, and initiated the Champions of Change Award to recognize outstanding contributions from district administration staff.

Emphasizing the importance of cultural preservation, Chief Minister Sai expressed happiness over the enthusiasm of the tribal community in upholding their traditions. He celebrated Karma Tihar as a vital part of local culture and urged everyone to celebrate it together. He reiterated that both the central and state governments are committed to the welfare and respect of tribal communities through various schemes, including the PM Janman Yojana and the Tribal Village Utkarsh Yojana.

The Chief Minister also visited exhibition stalls showcasing government programs and products from women’s self-help groups under the National Rural Livelihood Mission. He distributed checks and materials to beneficiaries of various government schemes.

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal appreciated the unique identity of the Karma Mahotsav, while Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade highlighted its integral connection to the region’s natural heritage. MLA Pratappur Smt. Shakuntala Singh Porte welcomed the Chief Minister with a letter of felicitation. The event was attended by several MLAs and a large number of public representatives and community members.
