Event to Highlight New Opportunities and Investment Prospects in Chhattisgarh’s Tourism Industry

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will inaugurate the “Central India Connect Marketplace-2024” on September 27 in celebration of World Tourism Day. Organised by the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board in collaboration with the Chhattisgarh Travel Trade Association (CGTTA), the event will take place at Hotel Mayfair in Nava Raipur, beginning at 2 PM. The program will include expert panel discussions focused on exploring new opportunities and investment prospects within Chhattisgarh’s growing tourism sector. Cultural performances, tourism stalls, and exhibitions will also feature prominently throughout the event.
The primary goal is to showcase Chhattisgarh’s tourism potential, highlighting its scenic destinations, rich culture, and unique heritage on a global platform, in line with the World Tourism Day 2024 theme of “Tourism and Peace.” Through targeted publicity, branding, and awareness initiatives, the event aims to position Chhattisgarh as a prominent tourism hub, drawing attention to its natural beauty and cultural richness.
Special sessions will delve into emerging tourism possibilities and investment opportunities, with insights from industry experts, entrepreneurs, and investors. Discussions will focus on expanding the tourism landscape while promoting Chhattisgarh’s distinctive tourist attractions. Senior officials from the tourism department, along with CGTTA representatives and tourism professionals from across the state, will participate in this significant event, which is expected to drive both economic and cultural development in Chhattisgarh.
