Recruitment Process Underway for Various Departments
Youth Receive a Golden Opportunity to Shape Their Future Under the Sai Government
Raipur, 26 September 2024 // Chhattisgarh government has announced the opening of around 3,500 new government jobs, creating significant opportunities for the youth in the state. With recruitment processes initiated across various departments, thousands of positions are now available for candidates seeking stable employment.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing job opportunities and improving the livelihood of citizens. As departments prepare to fill these vacancies, the initiative aims to support the state’s development and empower its youth.
At the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Sai, the Finance Department has approved the recruitment of 3,474 posts across around eight departments. Nearly all departments are preparing for the recruitment process, from proposal preparation to obtaining government approval. In compliance with Chief Minister Shri Sai’s vision, the recruitment efforts will continue without interruption.
The opening are announced in various departments including the Health Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Agriculture Department, Rural Livelihood Mission, Home Department, Law Department, Tribal Welfare and Forest and Environment Department are actively advancing the recruitment process in their respective areas after receiving approval from the Finance Department.
Chief Minister Shri Sai is dedicated to providing new opportunities in education and employment for the youth of Chhattisgarh. As part of his initiative, the youth are also benefiting from a five-year relaxation in the maximum age limit for various government recruitments, including in the Police Department.
The Finance Department has approved the recruitment of 181 posts in the Public Health Engineering Department including 118 Deputy Engineer (Civil) positions and 10 Deputy Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) positions. Additionally, approval has been granted for 806 posts in the Home Department, which includes Subedar, Deputy Police Inspector and Platoon Commander roles. The Health Department is also moving forward with recruitment for 1201 positions such as Medical Officer, Ayurveda Medical Officer and Staff Nurse.
Moreover, recruitment is ongoing for Assistant Marshal position in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and for 300 Hostel Superintendent roles in the Tribal Welfare Department. The Forest Department is working on filling 66 posts across various cadres, including Forest Guards. The Panchayat and Rural Development Department has opened recruitment for 237 positions across various cadres while the Law Department is hiring for 362 roles, including Civil Judges in the courts. Additionally, 321 Rural Agriculture Extension Officers are being recruited under the Agriculture Department.
