Korba, 25th September 2024: With a commitment to enhancing the knowledge, technical competencies, and safety culture among its workforce, NTPC Korba has launched a dedicated Training Series for Contract Workers (Electricians). The program commenced on 25th September 2024 and is designed to provide hands-on training to electricians involved in plant operations.
The training program will run for a total of 24 days and will be conducted over a span of approximately 200 days in a galloping mode. This initiative is part of NTPC Korba’s continuous efforts to improve the skills and awareness of its contractual workforce, focusing on key areas critical to both personal and operational safety.
During the program, participants will gain insights into Behavioural Safety and learn about the maintenance of various electrical equipment, including motors and transformers. Furthermore, essential aspects of fire safety, and an understanding of labour laws governing contractual work will also be covered.
The initiative is aligned with NTPC Korba’s commitment to building a safety-first culture while ensuring that all workers are equipped with the latest technical knowledge required for the effective and efficient running of the plant.
