Ayushman Chaupal and Health Check-up Camps are Being Organised

With the objective to raise awareness about Ayushman Bharat Scheme, the Department of Health and Family Welfare organized a workshop in Bilaspur, where attendees were provided information about the scheme along with the training on how to register for Ayushman cards. The district administration has set a target to ensure 100% Ayushman card registrations during this Ayushman fortnight.

From 20th to 30th September, several activities will be organized under Ayushman Fortnight to ensure the registration of beneficiaries for Ayushman cards. In the same sequence, teachers from various schools were briefed and trained by Dr. Anil Srivastava, the Ayushman Scheme’s nodal officer, on how to facilitate the registration of Ayushman cards for students. The workshop was held at Sanjeevani Hospital’s auditorium, where the district-level team of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme conducted several sessions detailing the card registration process. A rally was also organised to raise awareness about the scheme among the public.

Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Prabhat Srivastava stated that various awareness and registration activities are being conducted under the Ayushman campaign, including the ‘Ayushman Aapke Dwaar’ initiative, Ayushman Chaupal, Ayushman Bharat Health Check-up Camps, and Ayushman Bharat Cycle and Bike Rallies. Beneficiaries can also register for Ayushman cards themselves through an app. By downloading the Ayushman app and the Aadhaar Face RD app from the Play Store, individuals can provide the necessary details to generate their own cards. The required documents include a ration card and Aadhaar card. Residents of rural areas can visit PHCs or CHCs for their Ayushman card registration. It is noteworthy that till date, 50,857 beneficiaries in the district have availed health benefits using their Ayushman cards in government hospitals, while 33,166 beneficiaries have received treatment in private hospitals
