District Administration approves Relief Grant of Rs 4 Lakh each to the Families of the Deceased
Raipur, 23 September 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed profound condolences to the victims and their families following the tragic lightning strike in Rajnandgaon district. He has directed the district administration to immediately provide financial aid to the bereaved families and make arrangements for the treatment of the injured.
It is noteworthy that eight individuals lost their lives due to a lightning strike in Joratarai village, Rajnandgaon block. The district administration has approved a relief grant of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased under RBC 6-4 guidelines. Among the deceased, five were children, and three were adults. One injured individual is receiving treatment in the hospital and is reported to be out of danger.
