Korba, July 12, 2025:The monsoon season brought more than just showers to DAV Mukhya Mantri Public School, Kharmora, as students celebrated a vibrant Rainy Day Celebration within the school campus.
Dressed in colourful raincoats and holding playful umbrellas, students from various grades transformed the school into a monsoon wonderland. The celebration, held both in classrooms and outside the main building, featured students joyfully singing rain songs, posing for group photos, and showcasing their cheerful spirits.
The event was graced by enthusiastic teachers and the school’s leadership team, who guided the activities with warmth and encouragement. Fun-filled group photos captured the radiant smiles of students under umbrellas, against beautifully decorated blackboards with chalk drawings of clouds, raindrops, and cheerful frogs.
The central theme revolved around appreciating the beauty of nature and embracing the seasonal change, while also emphasizing the importance of appropriate monsoon clothing and hygiene. Classrooms were decorated with rain-themed art, emotion charts, and creative selfie zones.
“It’s beautiful to see the children enjoying nature’s rhythm while learning important lessons in a joyful way. Their energy lights up the school,” said Principal Hemanto Mukharjee.
With laughter echoing through the corridors and the spirit of togetherness shining bright, the Rainy Day Celebration became a memorable experience for all involved.
